Driven by technology
Our company did not arise from a rigid business plan, but from technology, curiosity and solving real problems. Founded by Janus Hoeks and Don Hornman, Intemo grew from a small-scale, practical start, rooted in workshops and garages where technical knowledge and experience came together. We did what was necessary to get machines and systems working in practice. That approach is still visible in everything we do today.From application to solution
Every collaboration starts with the application. What does a system need to do, under what conditions, and what does an outage mean in practice? On that basis, we make technical choices. Not from standards, but from context, use and risks. This requires actively discussing ideas, asking questions and sometimes deliberately saying no. Together with regular development and production partners, Intemo manages the process, monitors specifications and secures quality.Familiar in critical environments
Today, we support organisations where reliability directly affects security and daily operations, including the National Police, fire and ambulance organisations, KPN and defence partners. Not as a remote supplier, but as a technical partner who takes responsibility. We understand what is at stake and act accordingly.We do not provide standard hardware, but industrial solutions tailored to environment, lifetime and use. Our involvement does not stop at delivery. We continue to contribute ideas during integration, use and further development. This is how we build technology that continues to do what it was designed to do, today and tomorrow.
